Want to dive into handbuilding or refine your existing skills while creating a thoughtful collection of vases—perfect for those early summer bouquets? Join us for this 6-week course focused on the essential foundations of handbuilding.

Whether you're brand new or already have some clay experience, this course is designed to strengthen your technique and help you explore more advanced forms with confidence.

Over six weeks, you’ll learn a range of handbuilding methods, including:

• Coil building with extruded coils

• Slab construction for a classic 4-walled vase

• Sculpting a vase with a hollow center using coils

• Creating altered forms through slab building

This class is perfect for anyone looking to build a strong, versatile foundation in handbuilding—while making beautiful, functional pieces you’ll be proud to show off.

Included in the class:

• 2.5 hr. weekly classes over a 6-week period

• A free 12 lb bag of B Mix

• Tools and glazes

• Firing of your class pottery work

• 2 hours a day of access to the studio during open studio hours Saturday & Sunday 12-5pm
